The Role
The Solutions Engineer is a hands-on, field-facing leader responsible for providing technical pre-sales support, installing, and integrating, and maintaining Odin's hardware and software solutions on complex, high-security jobsites. You'll be the face of Odin, working at the frontline of data center builds, infrastructure deployments, and public sector projects—ensuring Odin’s systems are configured for success and delivering immediate value.This role owns hardware procurement, inventory control, and equipment maintenance. You will be the primary point of contact for customers during physical deployments—ensuring every camera, QR scanner, turnstile, and gateway is operational, integrated, and optimized.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead onsite installation and integration of Odin’s equipment—including cameras, access control hardware, and networked devices—at jobsites across the U.S.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer success teams to scope project requirements and develop site-specific deployment plans.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for clients during onboarding, training, and post-install support.
- Configure and test system connectivity and integrations (e.g. to Procore, wage compliance tools, or timekeeping systems).
- Own the procurement, inventory management, and maintenance of all Odin hardware.
- Maintain detailed records of asset deployment across customer sites.
- Coordinate with Odin engineering to troubleshoot field issues and provide real-time feedback on product performance.
- Support RFPs, site readiness surveys, and pilot projects for large-scale rollouts.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a field engineer, solutions engineer, systems integrator, or related hardware deployment role.
- Familiarity with site access control systems, low-voltage hardware, or jobsite technology, specifically: C-CURE, Avigilon Cameras, Avigilon Cloud, Cradle Point, and HID Technologies.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to active construction sites (50–70% travel).
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills—comfortable working in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
- Able to lift and move moderate equipment and tools during setup.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to interface directly with jobsite superintendents and field teams.
- Self-starter, highly organized, and dependable.
Nice to Have
- OSHA-10/30 certified or prior experience with safety protocols on construction sites.
- Experience with software platforms in construction, compliance, or workforce management.
- Background in construction tech, IoT deployments, or mobile-first workforce tools.
- Network setup/config experience (routers, LTE modems, etc.)
- Bilingual fluency (e.g., English/Spanish) is a strong plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $120,000 – $150,000, depending on experience
