After experiencing more than 7x revenue growth from 2024 to 2025, Odin is scaling rapidly and preparing for its next phase of institutional investment. We are now building out a best-in-class financial infrastructure to support our expansion, and the Controller will play a critical role in that mission.
The Role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Controller to oversee the day-to-day accounting function, ensure financial accuracy, and prepare the company for investor scrutiny and audit-readiness. This is a foundational role in a fast-scaling company, reporting directly to the Head of Operations and working closely with leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Own all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, revenue recognition, accounts receivable/payable, and monthly close
- Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures
- Manage preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and support readiness for audit or due diligence processes
- Coordinate with external accounting firms, tax advisors, and other financial vendors
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with the Head of Operations
- Help implement and optimize financial software and systems as the company scales
- Assist in preparing materials for investors, board meetings, and future fundraising
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 3 years in a SaaS or technology environment
- CPA or equivalent strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience managing revenue recognition, preferably in a recurring-revenue business model
- Familiarity with accounting tools and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
- Prior experience in a growth-stage or venture-backed company is a strong plus
- High attention to detail, accountability, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
